Mathieu Beaupre became the latest member of Troop 303 to achieve the status of an Eagle Scout during a ceremony held at the American Legion Hall Sunday afternoon.
Beaupre completed the 26 tasks required during his time as a scout that began when he was in elementary school. For Troop 303 Committee Chairman Robert Flynn, Beaupre was the 56th scout from that troop to attain the rank of Eagle Scout. Flynn is beginning his 50th year as a scout leader. He had been a Boy Scout beginning in 1959 and scout leader beginning in 1968.
