“Marshall Properties initially purchased the property years ago with the intention of transforming it from a golf course into a shopping plaza and residential apartments.
That proposal didn’t go over well with residents, who argued that the new development would negatively impact their neighborhood.
Marshall Properties went back to the drawing board and decided to restore nearly half of the 18-hole golf course that already existed on the property. The East Providence Waterfront Commission approved the developer’s revised plan last week.”
