Brick by brick, dollar by dollar, infrastructure projects across the state are improving the lives of Rhode Islanders while putting thousands of people to work. Over the Infrastructure Bank’s 30-year history, we are proud to have created and supported over 58,000 local jobs through our investment in local infrastructure projects. These are high-paying jobs for construction workers, electricians, plumbers, architects and engineers among many others.
Investments in Rhode Island’s infrastructure are critical to our economy while also protecting the environment and public health. Since the Bank’s inception, cities and towns have benefited from over $2 billion in below-market interest rate lending for infrastructure investments.
