The Narragansett Council of Boy Scouts of America will be holding its 31st annual Scouting for Food Good Turn, with door hangers announcing the drive being distributed on Saturday.
More than 200 scouting packs and troops from across Southern New England will participate in the drive by collecting canned goods from residents. Donation pickups will be the following Saturday, Nov. 3, starting at 9 a.m. The goods will be delivered to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank and other local food pantries.
