Local Scouts were honored at the Narragansett Council Boy Scouts of America traditional “Gathering of Eagles” event at the Rhode Island Statehouse on Oct. 17. The annual event recognized Scouts who have received the Eagle Scout award in the last three years within the Council, with an emphasis on those who received the award this past year.
Among those honored were Dave Barboza of Cumberland; JR Stager of Lincoln; Jacob Conlon and Thomas Farnum of North Scituate; David Coderre and Liam Roesller of Pawtucket; Cameron Souve, John Cassidy, Lorenzo DeSimone and Jason Stoltz of Smithfield; and Edward Tupper of Woonsocket.
