Spending his adult life working as a minister, Tim Benson has always been a man of faith. In 2011, that faith was tested.
The Onset resident was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease seven years ago, forcing him to retire from the ministry at the age of 62. While there is no cure for the disease, Benson decided he would do as much as he could every day to stave it off.
